  • Slow ox for one hour. The nose is a bit reticent but shows some floral, tobacco and tar notes. The wine has held up well. It is medium bodied, still showing some tannin, but still reasonably pleasant and delicious. Black cherry, cigar box, herbs and minerals come through. A little bit rustic and clearly beginning its decline this was still a revelation.
