  • Another Chenin, this one coming from older vines (around 90 years old). This was bit crazy, over the top for me. Really dry, chalky taste - like licking crushed pills off fresh paint. Too much volatility, tasting more like cucumber-lemon brine than wine. Great example how these wines can sometimes end up in the downright Gonzo genre.
