  When I received this as part of my Cru club offering I thought " I want another Pinot not some Sangiovese"! Although Lange is known for its Pinot's, I must admit that this is a very approachable wine that I enjoyed. I paired it with Pizza and it worked well. The wine displays aromas of cherry, floral and chocolate while the flavors of pepper, raspberry, cherry and mineral come through to a smooth finish with restrained tannins. This should be best enjoyed before 2009. I would compare it to the likes of Falesco Vitiano. It is a well made wine that shows what Washington fruit can produce with Sangiovese!
