Pretty crimson. Cedar, milk chocolate, currants and plums dominate. A nice straight-forward wine that is showing surprisingly little age. A nice surprise.

This has still got it. A friend brought this bottle for a dinner a tasted blind. The wine has a nice brown tinge on top of its deep burgundy with lots of body and the legs of an NFL linebacker. Incredibly balanced with fig dominating and touches of cassis and tobacco. Nice acidity with velvet tannins

12th wine drunk at the wine bash. it did not disappoint. Unlike the previous reviewer who clearly had a poorly stored bottle, this was fresh young looking and tasting but nicely mellowed out. Not close to gone. The QPR on this is always great and it was universally enjoyed by those who had it. Due to the party nature of the evening no more detailed notes available.

Deep dark garnet color, with nice clarity and good legs. Nose initially heavy on the vanilla/oak but gives way after several hours to rich dark fruit and chocolate. Heavy mouthfeel needs some food to balance it. Overall great QPR!

We figured this was pretty far gone at this point........and it was. Got the bottle with an auction lot and was drinkable when opened (barely) and totally undrinkable the next night. I'm sure it was fine in its day but its just totally gone at this point.
