In all fairness, an entry-level zin probably shouldn't be expected to last 10 years--and this is no exception. Off-putting nose of pepperoni loaf and iodine. It's structureless on the palate with no tannins to speak of and a tinny kind of metallic red fruit flavor. My fault for waiting so long.

A good Zinfandel. Rich, pretty full-bodied, good fruit flavors, not quite as dry as some wines we’ve had. I always like drinking these.
