This limpid, light yellow wine serves up aromas and flavors of green apples, lime zest, lemon verbena and ginger. Light-bodied, vibrantly acidic and without detectable alcohol (12.5%), it reveals a minimal amount of wood, despite eight months in French oak barriques (13% new, 17% one year old and the remainder 2-5 years old). Thinning a bit on the mid-palate and concluding with a truncated, tart finish, this lacks varietal character and would best be consumed on the beach with sushi or similar light fare. Drink now-2023.

Pale gold. Nose of lemon, apples and biscuits with a touch of burnt butter - fresh. Lemon biscuits with some apples (both fresh and stewed). Lovely acid giving good structure. Looking forward to this developing over time.

On second go we tried this with an Asian dish and thought more of it.
