Excellent value. Very interesting and complex. Not a crowd-pleasing style, yet everybody liked this. Clean and very well-balanced, with only a tiny hint of sweetness. Good upon opening -- with a faint touch of frizzante -- and still very good on the second night. Would definitely buy again. 89-90.

Very old world - surprisingly so. Nuts and dust on the nose with a bit of green fruit. Earthy on the palate. Definitely a food wine. Not so good on its own, but it really shined with wild mushroom ravioli and white truffle oil.
