Very light for a Bordeaux. Nose has earthy mossy wet leaves and pine needles. Slightly acidic, dry with light tannins. Leather and wood notes with tart raisins. Definitely past its prime, but not bad. This does need to be decanted for at least 2 hours, it was better after four.

Pretty much agree with Scamber. Bigger on the nose than palate. Red fruit, forest floor & mushroom. Smooth & light. Finished the bottle with a meal within the hour, it was still growing in the glass. Probably should have decanted first. Decent. 85/86

Solid, enjoyable. Unmistakably Bordeaux, all the usual elements were present immediately upon opening. Earthy and plenty of Margaux perfume. Not much depth, but for the price, nothing missing. Drink soonish.

Nice complex nose filled with currants, vanilla, oaky wood and tobacco. Palate is filled will matured fruits, tobacco and herbaceous notes. Silky tannins. Really open up after 2 hours.

2012 Bordeaux Trip; 4/1/2012-4/4/2012 (Bordeaux, France): End of the bottle opened earlier in the day, plenty of sediment. Dried red fruit on the nose, rather shy. Palate was round and soft, seemingly mature with some red fruits that were somewhat dried and tired. Moderate toasty finish, somewhat dull and simple. Fine, but nothing too exciting.
