  • Light to medium gold, with bronze glints. A surprisingly muted nose, with just a whisper of the expected marmalade. On the palate it's very sweet (140g sugar per l, apparently) but is so well balanced by acidity that the overall impression is of lightness. The flavours - candied orange and lemon, maybe - linger on and on. Amazing length. The lack of aroma remains slightly disappointing, but apart from that it's a wonderful, elegant wine. Cork, 12%.
