  Really enjoyed this. No decant but gave it about 30-45 minutes in the glass to warm up from cellar temp. Singing right away with a distinctive nose of cherry complemented by a similar fruity palate with a velvety/leathery feel. Nice backbone so I expect this will drink well for a few more days, but I wouldn’t expect it to get significantly better with age. Paired well with a tomato-based meat sauce. Feels very Italian to me (that’s meant to be a positive) but looking back it seems that I’ve been drinking exclusively US and French wines for more than a year. I need more wines like this in my cellar, especially at under $20/bottle.

  We loved this! Great QPR. Drank over two days. It evolved constantly, great fruit, some minerality, slightly spicy and herbaceous in the noise. Had no trouble standing up to tomato sauce, but still light enough to be enjoyable on its own.
