19 months since my last bottle. This needed and benefitted from 3.5 hours in the decanter. This is likely in or near its prime and will continue to drink well for a decade plus. Revisit 2025

5 and a 1/2 years since my last bottle. This still needs a 2 hour plus decant. Good primary fruit still. This is a bit disjointed mid way through and lacking in depth and complexity. Probably in its prime with a decade plus of life left. Revisit 2024

Decanted three hours and it kept improving over the next two. This is an earthy Pommard with refined tannins and some nuttiness on the finish. The body is on the light side but balanced and delicate if lacking nuance. Quite an enjoyable wine for the price.

Needed a solid hour open to show itself, but then is lovely, very much fruit forward and ripe, but balanced. Silky texture and shows both the sturdy and burly Pommard side and also the velvety Volnay side. Not terribly complex or detailed, kind of four-square and fruity actually. Lovely, but perhaps needs more time, or perhaps just isn’t that fascinating of a wine.

Serviceable and perfectly good. Not articulate or detailed, and not terribly rewarding. But nothing wrong with it either.
