  • Over time as I gain experience with Leonetti wines, I find that I'm liking the Aglianico the best. 2014 was stellar, and I just am trying the 2016; it's at cellar temperature, PnP, and already I can tell this is an amazing wine. Good tannic structure... my guess is it can age easily 10 more years. Probably now it is too tannic for many people. A bit of black cherry on the palate, lovely acidity, and good oak.

  • What a bottle! I have never had this grape before but it seems to me this needs to be grown more. I had it last night so can't recall specific notes but in general, the balance and feel were near perfect, absolutely delicious. Imagine with age it will improve more!
