Expressive and really pretty, items driven nose with notes of lemon, minerals, white flowers, and lemon zest. Nice acidity and balance on the palate with more lemon, some green apple, and crushed rocks. Long finish. Wow, this was amazing! Feels much more like a high quality Jura Chardonnay than “classic” Burgundy, though.

Rich clay soils, 3 weeks whole-bunch maceration, minimum 12 months in old barrels. Dusty pale yellow look. Slightly reductive at pour but that goes away after a few seconds and swirls. Overall the wine likes time and grows to a more complete and balanced wine during the evening. Mature citrus fruits, almost grilled. Some green notes such as stem, herbs and grass. Works in the background and creates a interesting depth and complexity to both nose and palate. The acidity is youthful, fine and steady. Still very young and you can sense that there's a seriosity to the wine, a mature elegance if you will. The aftertaste is long and has a wonderful lush sweetness to the fruit. High quality that's going to step up significantly after 5-10 years.

Un grand vin, une finesse et un gout incroyable. Encore trop jeune, les 2017 sont plus en place. Une couleur un peu trouble, probablement la méthode d'elevage, c'est un vin nature. Goutez la difference!
