Very similar to the 2015 vintage. Citrus fruit and some perfume on the nose. Once again, the palate was very juicy with citrus and white peach prominent. It developed in the glass as it warmed with lemon, mandarin, grapefruit as before. Excellent acidity and very long. Herbs and subtle spice emerged together with apricot from the Viognier. A good food wine - good with poached salmon. It is elegant and complex but is not inexpensive and it still faces competition from other white Rhone blends from, for example, Southern France and South Australia.
