Such a beautiful wine. Raspberry, black cherry, strawberry and a hint of orange peel fill out a silk like texture that's rounded out perfectly by the pepper from the syrah.

This wine is a multi-sense experience, much like purchasing a long-awaited vinyl new release album back in the day. The initial visual of the bottle, a lone sunflower occupying a portion of the mostly empty-space label, sets the expectation of something complete but mysterious, well thought out and full of artistic inspiration. Cutting foil and pulling the cork is the tactile equivalent of peeling the plastic off a new record, and a melodic waft of fruit (blueberry, plum) mixes with moss and hay on the nose. The wine has deep colors of ruby, and more heft than one might expect from a Grenache. Finally the flavors; more blueberry, barely a hint of white pepper, mushroom and blackberry flow into a euphoric coda of a soft, balanced finished, stereophonic and high fidelity. This is a splendid wine, and I plan to put it on my regular play list.

Strong plum nose, morphs into a softer dark cherry on the palate. Elegant structure.
