Quite similar to last bottle (notes on 8/9/20) but a bit more evolved w/ the acids folded in. Still a 90 score but now 90+ points. I think Chateau de Farmer below sums it up best....solid but not worth pursuing again.

Pushing a 90 but may need a bit more time in bottle. Good acid, ripe and American feel but some sense of Burgundian nimbleness here. Solid citrus flavor profile although vanilla can overpower at times. Got better with air so probably age this a year or two. Solid WTSO value at $25 but nothing to specifically pursue again.

Nose: Toasty aromas with some lemon zest. Palate: Lemons and quite a bit of pear flavor. Some decent minerality and acidity too. Not much complexity but a pleasant effort.

French oak shows in the nose, but not aggressively. Stone fruit, grapefruit, and nice minerality on the palate, with an overlay of French oak. Elegant.
