A l'ouverture, goût plus sucré que normal, donnait presque l'impression d'un vin australien commercial. Avec le temps, ça s'est amélioré mais ne constitue quand même pas un grand bordeaux. Nez assez mince, goût plutôt alcoolisé.

Perhaps I adjusted my expectations downward after my first bottle. Maybe I was too harsh the first time arround. What ever the reason, I think this wine is better than I first expressed. There is aroma of black pepper and black licorice. Still not a-lot of fruit. Black berry. Still far from a great wine, but not a bad "everyday" table wine. Better with decanting an hour.

not much of a bouquet. wet stone or slate. rounded tannins. high alcohol rather dominates taste. unspectacular - ok for everyday wine. better with decanting for an hour.

"2011" Sydney International Wine Show - stewarding notes; 10/17/2010-10/22/2010 (Blue Mountains, NSW): {cork, 13.5%} Developing low-intensity nose of dust and old salty oak. Not much here. The palate is dry, dusty and only vaguely fruity in an anonymous red berry way. It’s all about tannin, but even that can’t make a balanced finish by itself. A short, flat and rather uninteresting finish. This lacks depth and fruit. Pass.
