Admittedly I love acid and this wine delivers mouth watering bundles along with incredibly fresh red fruits. An apparent lack of tannin structure cause a slip from the 90’s keeping this a fresh midweek quaffer … that I enjoy. Not as an age worthy classic but a tasty diversion.

Tart fruit currently. There is hint if vanilla but it’s not offputting. Still trying to figure it out. It definitely needs some time in bottle. Not really ready yet IMO. Hopefully time in bottle will soften the wine.

Flabby. Acidity has dropped out and this wine is very single note with fruit and a roundness that tells me it’s over the hill.
