  • This is not another friuli white. First impression was really strong oak and vanilla, which was quite unexpected for the region. And after some minutes deep, sweet floral notes and tropical fruit from the grapes followed. It reminded me of malt whisky in some way. Palate was so vibrant with mid-acidity, but it felt too sharp for me at first. Next day the palate became stable and very enjoyable. Shame I paired this with fried chicken at first, which was not good choice at all. Recommend to enjoy for a long time to see this evolve, and with a little higher temp than usual friuli white. Burgundy style glass would be nice to enjoy the various nose from this hidden gem.
