PnP. Last tasted in 06/2020. Dark cherry, pie spice, some underlying mushroom and forest floor notes. Medium body, medium acidity, still fairly prominent tannins. The fruit has a slightly riper character. This has the bigger, brawnier tannins that I see in an lot of 2018 Oregon pinot noirs. I'm glad I waited this long to open my second bottle, but for my tastes this still needs a lot of time. I think that ultimately the 2018's will be great wines, but I really think this is a vintage to cellar for a few more years. I have two more left and I think waiting until 2026 or later is a good idea. There's a lot here, but the tannins really need some time to soften more. I'm not sure this will ever be an elegant vintage, but I think more time will tame the tannins and allow this wine to really show itself.

Nose-big mushroom, forest floor, wet leaves, distant berries. M tannins that beat out the acidity which I think is a little deficient. Medium alcohol, medium body. Modestly stemmy. Nice mouth feel, some funk. Mushroomy on palate as well. This is in the zone, don’t see benefit to further aging. Good qpr.

Brought to Marc and Anne's. Didn't get to taste much. Needed much more time to open than we really gave it. Can't say too much more about it.
