Suffered somewhat from following a punchy (and extremely successful) Sauvignon Blanc, but plenty of loveliness on offer here. Not particularly sweet, though with a good amount of extract to create a full-bodied feel. At this stage not particularly open on the nose, not much complexity on the palate, but oh-so-drinkable and with a silky finish that's full of minerality.

Ripe tangerine and sweet lime, cepacol cough medicine-petrol note, bit of fizz and stony minerality. Tasty, and will be interesting to see where it goes over time. I am not getting the seam of acidity that other tasters note, but that may be the sugar talking. 8.5% alcohol-I guess this is what climate-change Kab looks like now?

Wauw! I had the Spätlese last year, and this is on the same level. Pear, very well balanced with acidity and a sweet touch for a Kabinett. Bought another case right away after tasting it.

Yeah this is nice. Aromas of peaches, tangerines, and lychee. Palate was edgy with a great balance of bright tropical fruit with a tingly acidity. Overall, a really nice kabinett with a long life ahead of it.

Green apple, pear, peach, and wild yeast. Good streak of acidity to balance the ripeness of the fruit on the palate. Enjoyable but not sure I would rate it as highly as some of the critics have.
