Pretty aromas of raspberry, tart cherries, blood orange, dried sage, tobacco leaf, and rose petals. Full-bodied, bright, and expansive on the palate, with a nice backbone of acidity and powdery tannins to lift up the raspberry and black cherry fruit notes on the palate. I prefer other vintages in Willamette to 2018, but this is delicious juice that makes me come back for more.

PNP and drank over 3 hours. A bit darker fruited / less acidity than the '18 Whistling Ridge Heritage. Pure, sappy, Black cherry, black tangy raspberry, red strawberry. A hint of sweet vanilla, but I think that will be gone pretty quickly with some age. Medium acidity. Medium finish. Something about this wine is very Burgundian; with a smidge more concentration or sauvage or acidity, it would absolutely scratch that itch better.
