Light golden. Fragrant vinous nose with hints of peapods. Slightly pétillant. Great balance of fruit and acidity. Amazingly crisp for an eastern Washington state wine. Very clean. Who woulda thunk that Washington State could produce a quality wine from this classic Burgundian varietal? It may be hard to pinpoint the flavors of Aligoté as opposed to Chardonnay, the better known white varietal from Burgundy. This wine, however, stands on its own.

Crisp, racy, green apple nose, apple and lemon on palate, some bit of candy or desert I can't identify, very delicious.
