  Difficult to believe this was an almost 40 year old California cab from an unknown producer. Wine was still fresh and vibrant. Splendid nose of casis, graphite and clove. Still very dark color with just some light amber on the edges. Very good concentrated fruit with a long finish. Came across more like a 15 to 20 year old wine. To think this was a throw in in a mixed auction lot of more famous producers.
