A glass with lunch at Osherow del Arco on n Alba. Very approachable with a nose of scorched earth, roses, cherry and a hint of minty menthol, maybe also a hint of balsamic. Palate has some but not excessive tannin and is smooth and delicious with food. Finish is a bit short but otherwise this is a rather Burgundian Barolo.

From a 375ml bottle. Aired in the bottle 2,5 hours before pouring. On the nose a bit volatile and subtle aromas of tar, nail polish, some red fruit. Medium(+) bodied, supple, acidic with nice tannic grip, showing discreet and subtle red fruit with a hint of tar, ending with a nice dusty kick on the finish. Drinking already very well.
