Deep purple. ON the nose there are aromas of violets, blackcurrants, bramble, salami, cedar, sandalwood and vanilla. On the palate the wine is dry with medium plus acidity, high ripe velvety tannins, high alcohol, full body. Flavors are of medium plus intensity with violets, blackcurrants, bramble, salami, cedar, sandalwood,menthol and vanilla. Finish is medium. Overall, a very good wine that can still develop over the next few years.
