Med acid. Med - high tannin. Some red fruit, black currant and black plum. Perhaps it’s the time of day or I’m fatigued but I didn’t love, love this wine and it seems overpriced for it. To me, it’s like a 15-20chf range wine that is overpriced.

Medium red color with some purple at the rim. Lively aromas of fresh cherry, violet, some strawberry and cedar and a hint of toast. Full bodied with mouth coating, dusty-smooth, tannins and lively fresh acidity with some good fruit. A long finish with a slight hint of bitter.
It is this kind of style that has brought Barbera solidly back on my list of favourite wines over the past few years!
