  Another good Cahors! The producer was previously unknown to me and I bought it experimentally. Modern in the sense that it was easily accessible in its 6th year with its gracious fruit and warm round undertow but it also showed some typically earthy minerals, liquorice hints and enrobés tannins. There was also a welcome lack of obtrusive notes of élevage as well as reasonable alcohol (13%). Good wine, good QPR at c.€10 and I'll buy more.
