I don’t know why this wine has been trashed by some reviewers. It is surprisingly delicious and drinking great now. A strong blue inky and plummy fruit note prevails and very plush that must be from the Merlot. This drinks 10 years older than it actually is in reality. I rarely drink second labels except from 1st and 2nd growth producers but I would buy this again.

For some reason smells deeply chocolatey to me. That's probably a left over from what was previously in the glass. A little tight as ti goes. 2/3 Cab, 1/3 merlot.

Tasted this wine at the Chateau Beychevelle Masterclass during the International Congress of Chinese Cuisine & Wine at the Goodwood Park Hotel.
Fresh purple in colour. Amazing freshness on the nose with a boring palate. Not a wine for drinking in the near future. Overpowering acidity and needs time to settle down. Interestingly, some caramel notes were detected on the nose after 30 mins.
Made with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot.
Not a big fan of this wine, through no fault of the wine or the wine maker. Rather, this wine and its style does not suite my palate.

Fresh, lively, reserved, forward and fruity, the wine is medium-bodied, accessible, soft, elegant, refined and earthy. This is perfect for ordering in a cafe or restaurant. Enjoy it now while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. Drink from 2023-2032.

International Congress of Chinese Cuisine and Wine 2022 Masterclasses (Goodwood Park Hotel, Singapore): Medium ruby. Some oak on the nose. Tannins are gentle but less integrated, fresh and medium finish.
