  • 04 Brunellos at home. Tasted blind. Aired in decanter for 2 hours already. Drank in Conterno Sensory.
More or less same tasting note as before, with additional cool minty feels.
For fresh drinking. By day 2, fruits have thinned out considerably leaving only smokiness without support.

  • Loyang chalet doggie BBQ. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of light smoke, meat, earth, red fruited plums and cherries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, good high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), silky medium+ tannins, medium+ maybe just edging full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of bright sour red cherries, raspberry, bright red plum, light smoke, fresh earth. Medium+ finish.
Very good quality. Traditional styled, red-fruited, pure Sangiovese kinda style of Brunello. Blink and you will miss it kind of easy breezy wine, seems simple but does have a certain inherent quality to it.
If I tasted blind, might have guessed a good maker's Rosso.

  • Nose:pronunce strawberry n cherries initial stage.getting more earthy,meaty(burg,northern rhone😱) n red sweet berries with more air.sweet spice i guess from the oak.killing nose(slight "unclean" but I luv it😛)

Palate:initially pronounce strawberry notes n slight tart finishing.with more air, show more structure.lots of tannins n acidity.primary of red fruits support nicely with slight herbs n intense sweet liqourice finishing.gd depth with highly commendable intensity and concentration.seem there is a very slight spritz finishing."unfinish" work?luv the complexity here.getting more dense with more air which i didn't like it

Conclusion:bought this at $59 sin dollar(winebfair).kind of giving me a very old school feeling but yet have the concentration(suspect might have slight barrique influence) which the price tag reflect too gd to be true.
seriously this bttl really show fine wines r meant for consumers willing to pay just to "conquer". In term of value, fine wines poor poor QPR.this Bartoli Giusti price point, deserve 1 extra point
