Served on Thanksgiving. Everyone really enjoyed this wine.
Medium ruby color. Pronounced aromas of cherries, raspberries, cedar. High acidity, soft tannins, medium alcohol and body. Pronounced flavors of cherries (more so than the 2019, which was also consumed on Thanksgiving), cedar. Long finish.

Beautiful medium ruby color. Pronounced aromas of cherry, blackberries, and baking spices. High acidity, low tannin, medium alcohol, light bodied. Flavors consistent with aromas, plus perhaps a slight amount of dried herbs. Long finish with some of that spiciness at the end.

Decanted 60 minutes then poured back into the bottle with the cork returned for 8 additional hours at 61 degrees. The wine was consumed at a restaurant out of a Bordeaux shaped glass paired with a variety of tapas.
The color was a ruby purple. The aromas was floral with red fruits, orange rind and spices. The palate was of subtle red and blue fruits, including but not limited to, red and black cherry, strawberry, raspberry, boysenberry, and blueberry. There was a streak of baking spices and a herbaceous undertone with good salinity. The acidity was medium with medium(-) to lighter tannin structure. The wine was medium to medium-full bodied and it was well balanced.
The wine is very pleasurable to drink today with some air and could gain a point or 2 with short-term to mid-term cellaring.

A very big wine but fantastic with 2 hours of decant. Lots of flavor and finish. Not a subtle wine, but it isn’t trying to be one either.
