If you would like to know what pinot noir from Santa Rita Hills AVA (should) taste like, this is a great example of SRH PN. This is my first bottle of NSO wine and I'm guessing the winemaker believes in minimal intervention/manipulation. Great food wine, but is so balanced and smooth that this is an easy drinker any day of the week.

Great value. Drinking very well. Fresh with nice fruit. Give it a few swirls of your glass to let it open up, and before you know it the bottle is empty. Update: Saved a glass (refrigerated) and tried again 48 hours after opening. Very nice fruit. Even better than day one. One of the best Pinots I can recall at this price point.

On the nose- Big cherry jolly rancher, fresh cherries, fresh strawberries, red raspberries, cola, rhubarb, wild flowers, wild herbs, forest floor, wet earth, red flowers.
On the palate- Bight cherry jolly rancher and fresh cherries, fresh strawberries and red raspberries, cola and rhubarb, wild flowers and wild herbs, forest floor and wet earth, and nice fresh cut red flowers. This wine is drinking fantastic being super young, but it did really well opening up with 45 minutes of air to really show its stuff. This wine is drinking very well young but could age for another 3-5 years if not longer with no problem
