Very austere, herbal and sponti at the moment. The nose is tight, offering some smoky schiefer notes, a bit of citrus and sponti funk. The palate is tight and herbal, showing a zesty acidity, and a bit of unripe vineyard peach.
Curiously I think this needs more age.

AP 12 20. Decanted an hour in the morning then put back in the bottle for dinner tonight. Very pale yellow. The nose has an initial punch of slate then starts off smelling like Chenin - chamomile tea, smoke, herbal honey (thyme, pine?) and lemon cream. The palate is more typical - underripe pineapple shading into lemon, firm acids up front, maybe 15-20 g/l RS, and has a lovely texture on the back end. This is sunny and "yellow" tasting and very pretty now.

Unresolved on PnP but this has balance. Think it is a pretty cool vintage style Dhroner and fruit profile is more towards green apple and guava than mango. No hurry here.

Very young but oh so good. semi sweet. aromas of mushroom and tropical fruit, tangy green apple midpalate. Very delicious and well balanced. Lots of complexity yet to emerge.
