Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • While hardly a proposition for the rear of the cellar, I was surprised at how this wine, in large part, avoided the confection of commercial Australian shiraz at the price (EUR.6.00). Medium crimson appearance, An obviously peppery nose which pretty much pin-points Australian shiraz. No wood. Peppery mouth, and bright and fresh. Though it lacks concentration initially, it gains momentum at the end. The pepper brings back memories of shiraz from the Riverina area in that country. Very good. Drink now, till 2024.
