Light gold color, soft texture, juicy, and moderately sweet, with enough acidity to be refreshing. Tasty mix of Yellow Delicious apple, nectarine, and yellow plum. Nicely mouth coating on the swallow with a long lingering aftertaste. Overall, gulpably pleasant and easy drinking.

Very dissapointing. Great nose, but all flabbby fruit on the palate with no balancing acidity. Will let my last bottle age for a few years, but I'm not sure it will do any good . . .

I have many '05s. A lot of them are too sweet and do not carry enough acidity to make them viable. This wine is sweet -almost too sweet to drink now. But it has the acidity and depth of flavor - I can't even identify everything going on - to make the long haul. This will be a beauty in 10 years or so, as the sugar settles down. After a day being open, this wine is awesome! The flavors keep bouncing off the sides of my mouth.

Riesling revelry at Gabiela's (Gabriela's Portugese Cuisine): decanted for ~ 1 hour. Initially very closed.
completely different than i remember - much less viscous, and the explosive flavors never showed up. kind of disappointed.
