13% abv. Recent auction purchase. Bottled in Rutherford? As others have noted, this has proper Provence Rose character in aroma and flavor. However, I found this to be rather heavy-bodied and ponderous. Was kind of a chore to drink more than a glass. I was kind of expecting something crisp, light and refreshing - this wasn't that. Drinks more like a serious red than a summer sipper rose; I don't think it succeeds very well in that role either. Just a weird rose experience. Not terrible - even somewhat enjoyable - just not what one expects.

Ok, tasted more like a red wine than a rose and had too much acid in the finish.

Quintessential Provence rosé. Floral, dusty, mineral, herbaceous, hints of nectar, but with an oh-so-dry finish.
