    from the single monopole Vigna Castel Ringberg at 330-400 m with
    glacial gravel on the higher perches and calcareous/loose limestone
    soils in lower zones.
    Manual harvest.
    10-day fermentation followed by malolactic in stainless steel tanks
    in a state-of-the-art fermentation cellar completed in 2015 comprising
    precision destemmer and "A highly sensitive destemmer, a"cuvon”
    running on rails to allow whole grape processing via gravity fed technology.
    Aged 20 months in French oak barriques.
    Plus several months in bottle.
    13.5% Abv.
    Owners/Winemakers: Elena Walch (4th gen) with daughters Julia and Karoline.

    A(ccuray)=2: Deep garnet/red. Fragrant, spicy varietal.
    B(alance)=2: Modulated components with firm structure.
    C(omplexity)=2: Dark berries, cassis, tobacco, spicy mineral.
    D(epth)=2: Gritty mouthfeel. Full palate and long finish.
