Opened by a friend who picked this up from the distributor for $20/bottle. Yellow colo. Aromas of apple, minerals and almonds. On the palate, a bit of oak, stone, apple and marzipan. Okay, but nothing special.

Some volatile acidity that I found to be a flaw, but it did not bother most tasters. Tart cherries, rich and smooth. Other than the VA this wine is full bodied and tasty. It should be consumed now. -JBL

Anita: Wow! Aromatic, musky, pot pouri, and soft, ripe blkberry core; silky, yet not elegant--tons of character--lots of fun. Very dry t’s at first, minerals, and cherry. Very interesting, like a wild artist.

Anita: W/BBQ chicken, total funk bomb, exotic, earthy, musky funk and maybe some clove and over ripe blood orange; old wet baseball glove, a little prunes, and some brown spice. A bit sour in the mth, but good a’s, med. bod--not much t’s, a bit light, but great char. Fun wine.

Tart, uninteresting, simple, medium bodied, slightly vinous, but the alcohol mellows with breathing. A lunch wine? -JBL
