  The medium body is reflected in the color, a nice plum/brick color with just enough translucency to see through.
  
  The nose is dark berry with a bit of baked spice, maybe cinnamon.
  
  It presents with the expected dryness, spiciness a d a little bit of pencil shaving, if you can imagine that. But there are great blackberry and cherry notes. Again, spiciness shows up, hints of pie crust but not sweet...more savory like you would expect in the crust of a Jamaican beef patty. Good structure. Tannins are there but remarkable well integrated and that's unexpected. I though it was going to be more rough around the edges because it's still young.
  
  I ha e a few other bottles of this. Looking forward to drinking then over the next 5 years or so.
