Consumed over two nights, with the first nights remains pored into a half bottle and refrigerated. Lots of cinnamon, all spice, berries and cherry cola. Pretty bouquet and a long, moderately complex finish. The surprise is it upped its game for night two. One of the best entry level, quality Pinots around.

Loads of red berry, cherry pie, baked strawberry, and sweet spices framed by bright acidity and low-medium(-) soft tannin. A fruit-driven hedonistic crunchy surprise at 13.1% abv.

I know it will be better next year but its so tasty and food friendly now that I never gave any thought to waiting. Medium body, simple but loaded with cherry cola flavors. Great entry level to Bernardus Pinots.
