Gorgeous deep purple wine. Label states 20 barrels made. Jammy with dark cherry, blackberry on nose and palate. Also licorice on the finish. A fresh wine, a bit hot although label states 14.2 alcohol. Perhaps the petite syrah provides thebco concentration. My wife likes this and it was her favorite red when we visited the winery. I'm trying to figure out if its the Petite Syrah or the Zin that she likes. With homemade salad and a CPK frozen pizza.

Still pretty tannic, but interesting blend of zin and petit sirah. Lots of dark fruit... blackberry and black cherry.

A little tannin still, would not hold for more than 2 more years. Very tasty, we paired with English short ribs.
