  • A new generation of simpler, livelier, brighter, atypical Australian wines. Taras Ochota was a big part of that movement. This grenache has immediacy and "grapyness" that one very seldom gets. May not be for everyone, but please try it if you can. Thank you to the NYT wine writers Eric Asimov and Besha Rodell for discussing this in their columns!

  • Grenache from Australia. Neon red color. Aromas of jolly rancher cherries, medicinal herbs, and a bit of minerals. Bright cherries and raspberries on palate, herbs, minerals. Juicy, light body with excellent acids. Fairly simple but delicious.

  • brilliant translucent rose color with a twinge of haze. nose subtle with some stony earth, moss, and soft berry fruits. palate light bodied with medium plus acidity. zippy and fresh. salty watermelon and raspberry flavors with green herb and spice. fine dry tannin on the back. medium length finish. drink now and quite good.

  • Natural wine - unfiltered. Light and fruit driven. Appears like a pleasurable easy to love dandy, but when had with food shows posture and depth. So much more than you first assume when you enjoy this as an easy drinking wine. Even better on the second day!
It is probably a nice reflection of Taras, the winemaker who unfortunately just passed away well ahead of his time!

  • Low alcohol, fruit forward but not overly sweet. Very easy drinking. Dominant raspberry, cherry and strawberry. Nice acidity and length. Lovely for an easy drink alone but holds up paired with food.
