  • Pale straw color with a green hue with aromas of pineapple, peach, candied orange, orange blossom, dried rose, and a hint of ocean breeze. On the palate it's medium-bodied, dry and fresh with zesty acidity. It shows peach, tangerine, candied orange, lemon zest and green mango flavors with a very appealing saline minerality. 13.2% abv| SRP - $25

From the winery "This estate grown bottling comes from our organically grown grape of Las Cerezas Vineyard. This vineyard is the "Mother Block" of our Spanish varietyal collections and was planted in 199 with grape cuttings from we sourced from Spain. Our journey pioneering Spanish varietal wines in California began at this site"...

It was the perfect companion for Paella de Verduras with garbanzo beans, roasted red peppers, sunchokes, artichokes, peas, cremini and golden chantrelle mushrooms (plus a few seared Bay scallops).Recipe inspiration from this baked paella was from Cookie and Kate! It's a recipe I'll be putting on repeat!

  • Pale yellow in color and clear in the glass. Aromas of pineapple, passion fruit, anise, honeysuckle, and minerality (limestone?) on the nose; tastes of peach, pineapple, and honeysuckle on the palate; Medium body and medium acidity; medium finish. Nice, complex nose, but I was disappointed in the lack of acidity I usually associate with albarino.

  • Medium light gold-green. Light nose of limestone, saline, honeysuckle, and apples. Medium light bodied and perfectly balanced. This wine is not fruit forward. A bit of apples and pears on the entry, but quickly followed by floral tastes and honeysuckle. Medium length dry stone and mineral finish.

This wine is really refreshing. Once again, this was yet another Bokisch wine we had where the tasting did not reflect the bottle purchased. The tasting was served via Boston Rounds and felt thin, where as this felt much more on point for the varietal.
