These Fetzer cabs from the 80s can really exceed their pedigree!
Winebid purchase, $10 so wasn't expecting too much...
Color: deep purple, inky black center and no browning at the rim. Nose: complex... herbal, smokey notes with beef, cherries & violets. Very compelling and interesting like a fine Bordeaux but unmistakably Cali cab. Palate: Light bodied on the palate with good length and balance. Elegant and very harmonious. Flavors echo the nose.
12.8% abv per the label. Why can't they make Calif cabs in this style anymore???
