Toasted barrel, coffee and vegetative notes that distract from what could otherwise be pretty good. The finish kinda sucks. Time? I think it should have come around by now. Day-2 note: not much better, with the finish still the major detraction.

Intense spice on palate. Firm tannic structure under red fruit with green layers
Acidity bites on long finish
