Visiting Vancouver and the Willamette Valley; 8/26/2021-8/30/2021 (Vancouver, WA and the Willamette Valley, OR): Comprised of 100% Sangiovese from the Boushey Vineyard in Yakima Valley, this wine was culled out from the blending process because a small number of barrels proved to be worthy of solo status. Medium ruby/garnet in color, it flaunts an aromatic profile of raspberries, pickling spice, sage, jasmine and dry earth. Medium-bodied and with good lift, it delivers flavors in line with the aromas, supporting them with plentiful fine-grained tannins and a complementary amount of oak. With a solid mid-palate and lengthy finish, this is an excellent, food-friendly wine that has the structure to age gracefully. Drink now-2030.
