  • Nose: overwhelming aroma of grape skins, lees, grape seeds; a bit vegetal/stemmy, with bell pepper and a sweet confectionary aromas deep in the background. Palate: Drying, underripe dark cherries that are faint up front but build toward the finish once the drying effects fade; tannins are sweet and almost buttery; a unique wine that tastes like a well-made homemade wine that came right off the vine.
