consistent tn's. Paired with a Thai Chicken and rice dish, which provided a nice contrast to the wine in that the textures of the chicken and vegetables, along with the rather thin broth it was served in, made for a clever textural sensations - neither the wine nor the food was in competition. Medium-bodied, the sweetness was less noticeable this time. Serve about 5F below cellar temp. 10,0% abv, drink thru 2016, B

cma82 nailed it. More freshness than I was expecting compared to many of the '06 Kabinetts I've had, and certainly sweet on its own, but a well balanced food wine nonetheless. I look forward to remaining 2 bottles thru 2015. A marvelous producer, from what I consider a pretty classic/balanced vintage compared to the big '05s. 10,0% abv, approx $19.

Typical rich 2006 kabinett. Very ripe flavors of peach, lime, golden raisins, and tropical fruits. Comes across quite sweet but balanced. Very good, leave this one alone for a few years, and you'll be rewarded.

Typical ripe and sweeter than kabinett normal 2006. Good minerality, nice acidity and fruit, but somehow everything didn't fuse very well and left it a bit disjointed at first. Let it sit for a few days in the fridge and was much better. I would sit on this bottle for a couple of years.
