Nose is immediately captivating with pure and distinct rose, blood orange, strawberry top, and a background array of warming spice, just the faintest tar underneath it all. Tannins surprisingly accessible considering the youth, though large and a bit blocky. Palate is pure and pristine, the fruit already melting together and really making you contemplate each sip.
One of the best showings for Barbaresco I've personally ever had. Will peak in 2-5 more years, but it's pretty outrageous right now. I said "wow" multiple times.
Tight after a two hour decant, opened up with time and was much more open on day two. Light red in color, does not drink like a light wine at all, very substantive. Nice nose with some red fruits and flowers. Noticable tannins that will need time to resolve. Palate was lovely. Worked best with food on days 1 and 2, needs a few years and has significant upside.

SLDS September 2022: Graphite, spice, smoke, slate and cherry with tar in the background. Palate has density but retains some verve and freshness. Good length and the components here feel like they are tracking well but its still early days.

Surprisingly smooth and elegant. Though tannic, of course, it's drinking well with decanting. Floral aromas of fresh rose, fresh raspberries, cherries and cranberries. Beautiful hints of cinnamon and licorice. Sophisticated.
