Tasted side by side with the 2004 Bertagna Vougeot 1er Cru Clos de la Perriere (Monopole) and Vosne-Romanee Les Beaux Monts (see TNs), the NSG Murgers was fairly dense but less aromatic than the other two wines. Less spice than the V-R Bx Monts. On the palate, medium weight, with red fruit. Nice balance. A touch of oak. Nice.
